Privacy Policy

Last updated: 10 May 2026

Setlist Metronome is built for working musicians. It is designed to do its job without asking for any personal information or sending anything off your device. This policy explains exactly what that means.

What the app stores

Your songs, setlists, settings, and pedal mappings are stored only on your device, in a local SQLite database. The app does not back this data up to any external service. If you delete the app, that data is gone with it.

What the app does not do

Permissions the app uses

Bluetooth
Used solely to receive key-press events from a paired page-turner pedal, so you can advance through your setlist hands-free. The app does not scan for, connect to, or read from any other Bluetooth devices.
Audio output
Used to play the click sound through your phone’s speaker or whichever audio output you have selected.
Keep-awake
While the click is running, the app prevents your screen from sleeping. This permission is released the moment you stop the click.

If you contact me

If you email me at the address below, I will only use your message and email address to reply to you. I will not add you to a mailing list, share your details with anyone, or use them for anything else.

Children’s privacy

The app does not knowingly collect any data from anyone, including children. There is nothing to collect.

Changes to this policy

If a future version of the app introduces optional features that involve any kind of sync or account — for example, sharing setlists across band members’ phones — this policy will be updated before those features ship, and the in-app behaviour will be opt-in. The “last updated” date at the top of this page will reflect any change.
